1. How do I install Lovendar?

You should close Microsoft Outlook before you start the installation wizard. To install an add-in simply double click on Lovendar Setup.exe file and follow the step by step activation and installation instructions. The installation of Lovendar products does not require restarting your computer. After you finish the installation wizard, start Microsoft Outlook and the setup form will appear. Lovendar will ask you general information that will be used in organizing your reminders. To make Lovendar more effective, some questions are required. It's a really straight forward program.

2. How do I activate my product?

To activate your product, locate the file and double click the icon to open the file. The activation wizard will appear prompting you to enter your email address one time. Enter your email address, then click OK. When the OK button is clicked, your email address is sent to the registration server that automatically generates the correct code and immediately sends it to the email address entered. Now check your email for the unique registration code for the product. Copy and paste registration code into the awaiting screen, then click OK. The Lovendar installation wizard will open. Follow the wizard to complete installation. If you do not receive the email in 5 minutes, check your Deleted, Junk, Spam folders for the email. If you can not find it in these folders and after 5 minutes you have not received the registration email that contains the access code for your product, try using a different email address.

3. What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of the product, once the download link is delivered to the customer via email and/or the product is delivered to the customer via CD, The Sale Is Final . We have no way of knowing whether the events have been uploaded in full or in part, therefore we can not issue a refund. However, we are committed to 100% customer satisfaction, if in any event you are having technical problems with the product, its use or installation, we will go to great length to resolve any problems you might have. 4. How long will the download link for the product I purchased be available for me?

6. I have an active firewall running which is preventing an outbound call to the registration server(s). What should I do?

Temporarily disable the firewall (you may need to contact your ISP for assistance), then run the registration process again.

Log into Windows with Administrative Rights, this will allow you to install programs on that computer, then run the registration process again.

8. My Internet connection is not active.

Go to your network connections and enable your internet connection, make sure you are able to upload a new website (not the one you have previously visited). Then try the registration process again.

9. I see a Software Expired screen when opening the file:

This means the program file you have downloaded has already been registered or has exceeded its allowed number of installations. Simply contact the owner of that program at the email address shown.
When the program is downloaded, it must be saved to your hard drive, then double-click the icon to launch the registration process. If you have already tried installing the program on another computer, it will fail to register again and you must obtain another copy from the author.

10. No registration code is sent to the email address I entered.

Registration code is sent via mass-email program and your spam software may sort it out into the Spam, Junk e-mail or Deleted Items folder. Make sure you check all these folders before proceeding.
If you are using a Spam filtering program such as SpamCop or SpamArrest, you will not be able to register the products. The registration server automatically sends your registration details. There is no live person who can manually respond to the verification requests sent from these types of services. You will need to use a different email address for your registration(s).
If after 5 minutes you have not received the registration email that contains the access code for your product, try using a different email address.

11. I have Spam Filter and I have not received the registration code.

Increasingly, ISPs are using filtering systems to try and keep Spam out of customers' inboxes. Sometimes, they accidentally filter the e-mail you "want" to receive such as your product registration details.

Here is what you can do:

First, add registrations@electronicdeadbolt.com to the address book of your email program.

Second, call your Internet Provider and ask if they are using Spam filters. If they are, ask them how to add electronicdeadbolt.com to the "Friendly List" or "Whitelist"

NOTE: If your ISP does not allow you to whitelist a domain, they are violating your basic right to receive e-mail from whomever you want. There are many other, customer-focused /customer-friendly ISP's who would love to have your business.

Third, check your email program filters:

AOL Users : First, add registrations@electronicdeadbolt.com to your address book. AOL filters divert email from unknown senders to the spam folder. Now click on the "Manage Mail" tab and look in the "Spam" folder. If this information is not helpful, you can contact AOL directly.

Yahoo Users : By default, the mail system automatically filters the majority of incoming bulk or commercial email directly to the bulk mail folder. If you receive e mail in the bulk mail folder that you want to be sent to your inbox from now on, you can set up a filter to redirect the mail. Details: http://help.yahoo.com/help/mail/manage/manage-06.html.

Hotmail Users : Place electronicdeadbolt.com on your Safe List. The "Safe List" can be accessed via the "Options" link, located to the far right of the main menu tabs.

Outlook & Outlook Expres s : If you do not receive the Registration or other emails in your Inbox, look in the Deleted Folder.

12. How do I set up product registration email as a friendly email to receive the registration code for my product?

• Click on "Tools", then click on "Message Rules", "Mail", and "New".

• Now set up a new mail rule to accept email from: registrations@electronicdeadbolt.com

• In Box 1 , check: "Where the From Line contains People".

• In Box 2 check "Move it to the specific folder"

• In Box 3 , click on the link "contains people", add registrations@electronicdeadbolt.com and click OK.

• Next click on the link "specified", choose a folder or create a new folder for electronicdeadbolt.com, then click OK.

• Now click OK again and you're finished.

13. I have “Windows File Missing "Error" . What do I do?

If you see a message “ERROR STARTING PROGRAM” A required dll. file OLEPRO32.Dll not found. The file needed (that your computer is apparently missing), is part of the Windows operating system.

14. I can not install the product? What should I do?

If you are installing the product on MS Office Outlook application on any of these platforms: Windows 2002(XP), 2003 and 2007 Vista and have a problem with installation, or experience other problems related to the activation of the product, or unable to use the product, send an email to our 24/7 support team to support@lovendar.com .

16. How will I receive Lovendar after I buy it on your website? Can I download it?

It works like this: You choose the Lovendar you like and add it to your cart. Click 'Continue Checkout' and provide your billing, shipping and credit card information, then click “Purchase”. You receive an email a few minutes later describing where to download your Lovendar along with the instructions. Therefore, be sure to provide a valid email address when you order.

18. Do you have trial versions?

Not at this time. We have found from past experience that the amount of tech support questions delay our response time and we decided to reserve our support resources for paying customers.

19. I installed the Lovendar, but I can't find it?

Because Lovendar is integrated into Outlook, and becomes part of Outlook, it can be found in upper left corner in your Outlook.

20. How do I remove Lovendar?

Before removing Lovendar, close all Outlook applications, otherwise it will remove it in parts and you will need to delete the events manually. To remove it completely, go to Control Panel...Add/Remove Programs, find Lovendar in the list and select Remove. This will remove the program along with all of the calendar events that have not been modified.

Note:

If you are unable to close the "Add/Remove Programs" window by clicking "Close" , click the Close [X] button at the upper right corner of the window. This problem does not effect the software uninstallation.

21. When I remove Lovendar, my Outlook did not close automatically, so I closed it manually and it says: some components can not be removed. What does it mean?

Removing of the events might take up to a few minutes depending on your system. We suggest being patient with it and Outlook will close automatically. If you closed it manually, you will need to remove the events manually. Please see How do I remove Lovendar?

Yes, CDs require separate transaction per gift, unless it's a downloadable product. If you purchase downloadable product as a gift, simply forward email with product download link to the person whom you purchased it for. You will have the option to include a special message at the last step of the checkout process.

25. If I want to buy a CD version and a downloadable version, does it require separate transactions?

No. If you add a downloadable product along with other tangible products to your shopping cart and proceed to check out, you will see the same shipping options as for other tangible products, so you can choose shipping option for getting the CD and get the link for downloading at the same time, all in one transaction.

Yes. You can ship to a different address other than your billing address. Simply state the desired shipping address during the checkout process.

29. What system requirements I need to check before buying this product?

Please ensure that you have recent version of Microsoft Office on platforms Windows 2002(XP), 2003 or 2007 ( Vista ). This product can only be used on Outlook 2002(XP), 2003 or 2007 ( Vista ) and will not work on Outlook Express or any other versions of Outlook. 30. Why do I need to create a password if I don't plan to save my payment information?

You will need a password to access your account information, invoices, order history, product download links, shipment information and receipts. You can use your account to speed up future purchases. Your payment information will not be saved in our database if you choose so at the moment of registration.

31. Is it possible to install this product on both of my computers?

No. When you buy this product as download or on a CD, you buy one time license. After you have activated your product, the dedicated server captured the hard drive serial number and product ID which prevents further use of this program on another computer. You will need to buy a new license for your product.

33. What's the difference between Outlook and Outlook Express?

Microsoft Outlook Express is an email program that comes with Internet Explorer and as such is free. It is intended as a basic email client, and Microsoft limits programmer's capabilities to modify the program. Nonetheless, it is a stable product and millions of people use it everyday.
Microsoft Office Outlook is a full fledged email client. It is part of the Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft goes to great lengths to make it easy for programmers to modify and extend Outlook through a technique called "add-ins" or “plug-ins”. These add-ins are available for Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003 or Outlook 2007. This is why Lovendar is compatible with newer than Outlook 2002 versions.

34. How can I contact your support team?

Please read all of our frequently asked questions. Most of our customers have been able to resolve almost every issue by finding the answers right here. We have a 24/7 support team and you can contact us by writing about the nature of your problem and your order number to support@lovendar.com . Be sure to include your order id if you're not emailing from your registered email address. Also include your exact version of Outlook. You can tell which version of Outlook you have by going to Help...About. It's usually a number like 9.0.0.6627, 10.0.4129.4217, or 11.0.5608.5606. We'll need this in order to reproduce the problem you're having.

Even better, if your problem is viewable you can send us a screen shot. To get a screen shot, just press Alt+PrntScrn on your keyboard (when your screen is ready, that is). This puts it into a copy/paste buffer. Then just open Word, paste it in, and send it in.

35. The reminders keep popping up in multiple widows.

There must be a problem with your computer clock. Go to Start… Run.. type in Outlook/cleanreminders. This should solve the problem. If not, please contact support@lovendar.com , state the nature of the problem and your order number.

36. How can I delete all reminders?

There are two ways:

First one, Close all Outlook applications, go to Control Panel...Add/Remove Programs, find Lovendar in the list and select Remove

Second Way :

For Microsoft Outlook 2002

Start Outlook 2002, and then click your Calendar folder. On the View menu, point to Current View , and then click By Category . On the View menu, point to Expand/Collapse Groups , and then click Collapse All . In the Table pane, right-click each category, and then click Delete . This deletes every item that belongs to each category.

For Microsoft Outlook 2003

Start Outlook 2003, and then click your Calendar folder. On the View menu, point to Arrange By , click Current View , and then click By Category . On the View menu, point to Expand/Collapse Groups , and then click Collapse All . In the Table pane, right-click each category, and then click Delete . This deletes every item that belongs to each category.

37. Are there upgrades available for Lovendar?

Yes. There are two kinds of upgrades. One is offering new functions as the addition to the original one, like SMS function or Email function, Phone Me function, etc… are included in the price. Second kind of upgrade is informational, updated events, places, and ideas lists, compatible partners' versions for the updated consecutive 12 months. This one must be acquired and we have lucrative discount for our continued customers.

38. I installed the Lovendar program, but the reminders are not popping up!

Make sure your Reminder is enabled in three places:

First place: Open Outlook, go to Tools, Options, Other tab, Advanced button, Reminder Options and make sure the box “Display the reminder” is checked. If you want to play the sound, make sure both of them are checked.

Seconds place: Open Outlook, go to Tools, Options, Preferences, Under Calendar, make sure the default reminder is checked. You can customize the time for the advance reminder here as well.

Third way: Open Outlook, go to Tools, Options, Other, Advanced options-> reminder Options -> make sure “Display the Reminder” is checked.

39. Can I print a full month calendar?

Yes. Just keep in mind that when you try to print a month that covers 6 weeks (such as October 2004), you need to use the page setup option of "Print exactly one month per page" in order for the full month to print when you include weekends. 40. Why didn't you include the holydays as well? Celebrating them can be romantic too.

Holydays is a personal preference. You can add and delete country-specific holidays yourself and we encourage you to do so the same day you install Lovendar. Here is how you do it:

Add Holidays to the Calendar

To add holidays to the Calendar, follow these steps:

On the Tools menu, click Options. On the Preferences tab, click Calendar Options and then click Add Holidays. Click to select the appropriate country, and click OK.

If you have already added a country's holidays, you will see a check next to the country name. If you try to add the same country again, you receive the following error message:

Holidays for <country> are already installed.
Do you want to install them again?

If you click Yes, the holidays will install a second time and you will see duplicate holiday entries.

41. I have installed Holidays now I need to remove them. How do I do that?

To remove holidays from the Calendar, follow these steps: Open your Calendar. On the View menu, point to Current View, and then click Events.

In Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, this step is slightly different. Open your Calendar. On the View menu, point to Arrange By, click Current View, and then click Events.

Click the Location column heading to sort the list of holidays by country. Click to select the first holiday you want to delete. Hold down SHIFT and click the last holiday you want to delete. Press DELETE to remove all the selected holidays from your Calendar.

42. I have installed Lovendar but I can't see the events. I have seen tem before but now they're gone. What does this mean?

If the reminders were there, and you have not experienced any major crashes with your system, chances are all the reminders are still there. Lovendar is installed into individual Outlook Mail Profiles. If you use multiple profiles; for example, an Internet mail profile and an Exchange profile you will need to install Lovendar into each profile, otherwise if log in to a new mail profile where Lovendar have not been installed, chances are Lovendar is not there. If this does not resolve your problem, please email to support@lovendar.com to help resolve your particular issue.

If you uninstalled Lovendar and trying to reinstall it, the events will not re-upload due to the built-in protection. You will need to purchase new license or contact our support team to review your particular case, include your order number and send us an email at support@lovendar.com or submit your enquire via Contact Us page

43. I want to send SMS to a different number and email reminders to a different email. How can I do that?

Open your Outlook and go to Lovendar Options. You can enable/disable SMS and email alters as well as change the phone number and mobile provide along with your email address. Remember: in order to receive SMS or email reminders – the Outlook where Lovendar events are installed must be open and running at 7 am every day and auto send/receive must be enabled. See question “ If I cancel email reminders, will SMS alerts continue?”

45. After installing a multilingual version in French, some of the events have strange symbols in the description. Why is that?

This can happen when your Windows doesn't have language packages (with special codepage) like French, or Asian, etc…

To avoid this, prior to installation, you must Go to Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Languages -> under Supplemental language support -> check box “Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages (including Thai) -> checkbox “Install files for East Asian languages”. This might require 10MB of disk space and Microsoft compact disk for your version of Windows. Click on Details tab and make sure you add the desired language.

46. I installed the wrong language. Can I reinstall in a different language and how many times can I install?

You can only install events in one language you choose during the installation. Removing and reinstalling Lovendar in a different language will result in no events being uploaded. 47. If I cancel email reminders, will SMS alerts continue?

Yes. SMS alerts will continue, however your Outlook must be running and auto send/receive feature must be enabled. SMS are programmed to be sent every day at 10 am, if your Outlook is not running at 10am, the event for that day will not be sent via SMS.

To enable Auto Send/Receive, go to Outlook-> Tools-> Options-> checkbox “Send immediately when connected”. Open Send/Receive tab and check box “Schedule automatic send/receive every 1 minute”.

48. My outlook closed due to a problem, on start-up it recommended to disable Lovendar add-in. How can I enable Lovendar add-in?

For add-ins that have been soft disabled:

For Outlook 2003(XP): On the Tools menu, click Options, Other tab, click Advanced Options, Click COM Add-Ins, Select the check box next to the disabled add-in and click OK

For Outlook 2007 ( Vista ): On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, click Add-ins, In the details pane, locate the add-in in the Inactive Application Add-ins list. In the Manage box, click COM Add-ins , and then click Go. In the COM Add-Ins dialog box, select the check box next to the disabled add-in, Click OK .

For add-ins that has been hard disabled:

For Outlook 2003(XP): Open Outlook, go to Help, About Microsoft Office, click Disabled Items, Select the add-in and click Enable.

For Outlook 2007 (Vista): Open Outlook, go to Tools, Trust Center, in categories pane click Add-ins , In the details pane, locate the add-in in the Disabled Application Add-ins list, In the Manage box, click Disabled Items , and then click Go, Select the add-in and click Enable, Click Close .

49. How do I temporarily disable Lovendar Add-in?

Open Outlook, go to Tools, click Options, click Other tab, click Advanced options, click Add-in manager, Uncheck Lovendar add-in, click Ok.

50. How do I know that Lovendar add-in is loaded?

You will see the events in your calendar and a company's logo in the left upper corner in your Outlook. Otherwise you can go to Add/Remove Programs and see if Lovendar is listed as installed.

Otherwise, go to Tools ->Options ->Other ->Advanced options-> COM Add-ins. You will see the list of installed add-ins. If some add-in is not on the list, close the dialogue box and click the “Extensions…” button. A loaded add-in must not only be in one of the lists, but also be selected in the list.

51. How do I find out the version number of an installed add-in and if there are newer versions available?

52. How is it possible that I cannot disable your add-in? What are “disabled items”?

You may be at some point be faced with the following situation while trying to enable an add-in: you select the checkbox next to the name of the add-in, close the window, open it again, but the checkbox is not selected.

If you see an error message in this case, it means that Microsoft Outlook tried to load the add-in, but something caused an error during the attempt. In this case you should contact our technical support service.

However, if there is no error message displayed, in most cases it means that the add-in is in the list of “disabled items” and Microsoft Outlook did not even try to load it.

To look through the list of “disabled items”, select “About Microsoft Office Outlook” in the “Help” menu and click the “Disabled Items…” button in the dialog box. Find the add-in in the list, select it and click “Enable”. After that enable it as it is described in question “ My outlook closed due to a problem, on start-up it recommended to disable Lovendar add-in. How can I enable Lovendar add-in?” .

53. What is the difference between Microsoft Outlook add-ins, add-ons, plug-ins and Outlook extensions?

Generally, Office add-ins, add-ons and plug-ins mean the same - they are COM-addins for Microsoft Office, which have been a part of Microsoft Office since Office 2000/XP. There are COM-add-ins for Microsoft Office Word, Microsoft Office Excel, Microsoft Office Outlook and for the most of other Microsoft Office applications.

Outlook extensions are old-style applications which compatible with all versions of Microsoft Outlook. They originated from Microsoft Exchange Client, that is considered to be a predecessor of Microsoft Outlook to a large extent.

Outlook COM-addins and Outlook extensions are run by means of various windows that are opened through "Advanced options" by “COM Add-ins” and "Add-in Manager" buttons correspondingly. To open "Advanced options" in the menu "Tools" click "Options" and go to "Other".
